Shirdi Airport is a planned airport for holy city of Shirdi in Maharashtra state of India. This will be another transport center after Shirdi railway station (Sainagar Shirdi). The Planned flights from here are to Mumbai (the capital of Maharashtra state) and Pune. This airport is about 14 km from Shirdi at Kakdi (Kopargaon Tahasil) village. This is expected to takeoff till December 2011.[1]
